What are the basic features of sewing machines ?

  • Industrial sewing machines are basically divided into 3 parts:

  • The machine itself
  • Engine
  • Leg - Table

  • The legs mounted on the tables of the machines are available with or without wheels.
  • There are 3 classes of engines: mechanical, silent, head engine.
  • If you are looking for a quiet working environment, it would be better to choose machines with head engines or silent engines.

  • There are basically the following parts in the casting of the machines:

  • The pulley section receives the movement from the engine. You can turn the edges of your work by turning them by hand.
  • The electronic panel section, if available on your machine, can be used for functional thread cutting, foot lifting, label making, back and forth stitch settings, etc. Allows you to activate/deactivate programs.
  • The step adjustment numberer adjusts the stitch density of your machine. You can adjust your stitch shallowness with this part that can be rotated left and right.
  • You can mechanically move the machine in the opposite direction using the forward and reverse lever. In this way, you can stitch frequently to prevent your stitches from unraveling.
  • The tension section ensures that the rope feels tight or loose, depending on the thickness of your rope. This setting may vary depending on your thread and fabric.
  • The foot pressure screw adjusts the pressure of the foot to prevent your fabric from slipping. This setting varies depending on the type of your fabric.
  • The bobbin case is a component that winds the thread on your shuttle, it is designed to assist you faster than manpower.
  • The needle is the part that sinks the upper thread of your machine into the fabric. The thickness of your needle may vary depending on the type of your fabric.
  • The hook is the part that knots the lower thread with the upper thread. The settings are sensitive. If there are errors in your stitching, we recommend that you take it to technical service.
  • Knives are used to cut your rope after you are done, so you can save time and rope.
